The 10 Worst Places

Looking for a place to be unfaithful? A new survey from Gleeden.com (a dating site for married folks) say most cheaters prefer to conduct their extramarital affairs in Paris. Go figure. The city of light is a) out of the country, b) large enough so you won’t be noticed and c) über romantic.

Not that I condone cheating (I don’t!). But it still happens. A whopping 58% of women surveyed on WomensHealthMag.com said they’ve cheated and 22% even said they’d cheat if they knew they couldn’t get caught. And although new research from USA Today reports that fewer couples are having affairs now than in the past, infidelity is still all around us. If you can’t get to Paris to cheat, just make sure you don’t get caught here:
-Your own house
Come on, this one’s just a given. One stray hair, one out-of-place pillow, a slightly unfamiliar scent–it’s all evidence. And it’s already at headquarters.
-Your best friend’s wedding
Breaking a vow while your buddy’s making his own is ballsy. Plus, there’s a high chance you’ll get caught in the background of the thousand wedding photographs. Talk about photo bombing…
-The Mayflower Hotel
Ex New York governor Eliot Spitzer spent a famous night with Ashley Dupre at this Washington D.C hotel and things didn’t turn out too well for him. You betcha the hotel staff here has been on high alert ever since.
-The Oval Office
OK, if you could actually get into the Oval Office, I’d say go for it. But you don’t want your slip up grouped in with Monica’s infamous moves. And come on, White House staffers probably walk into that room just EXPECTING to see someone doing something wrong.
-Your cubicle
It’s bad enough to give HR another reason to dislike you, but giving your coworkers something to gossip about is almost worse.
-The Standard Hotel, New York City
Famous for it’s large windows and excellent views of the High Line park on the west side of New York, you have to remember that it’s not one-way glass. If you can see someone from your hotel room, they can see you. Don’t run the risk of being recognized, or worse, Tweeted.
-London
With all those closed circuit cameras, how the hell would you get away with it?
-A sporting event
I envision a horrible stadium-wide kiss cam scenario happening here, don’t you?
-The subway
Not to mention the spectators and the germs, but subway cars have lots of windows and you never know who will spy you at the next stop.
-Craigslist
Sex murders. ‘Nuff said.
Still thinking about doing it? Here are 14 things to remember before you cheat. (Like how you can say buh-bye to your relationship.) On the other hand, have another HORRIBLE place to cheat in mind? Share, share!
